Venus Transit From the House of the Sun

The transit of Venus was a good “excuse” for another trip home to Maui.  Since we were traveling with our good friends Greg and Vicki (serious eclipse-chasers), after 50+ years of procrastination, I was finally able to do the sightseeing with them that visitors do instead of just work on computers for relatives!

As a bonus, a bit more than a day earlier, there was a partial lunar eclipse visible also.  I photographed this from the beach under much more benign observing conditions.
